Catholic Bishops Don't THINK when They hear or see anything to Do With PREZ JOHN MAHAMA says.....

Image
A Deputy General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) has accused the Ghana Catholic Bishops Conference of politicising the Ghana Government's decision to host two former inmates of the maximum security Guantanamo Bay detention centre. Koku Anyidoho is questioning why some religious bodies are up in arms against governments decision to accept the two Yemeni citizens when government has stated that they pose no threat to the country. The presence of Mahmud Umar Muhammad Bin Atef and Khalid Muhammad Salih Al-Dhuby has created fear in the hearts of some Ghanaians, with religious bodies including the Christian Council of Ghana and the Catholic Bishops Conference urging the John Mahama administration to send them back. But government has been resolute in defence of the decision. Foreign Minister Hanna Tetteh, who issued a statement announcing their arrival, said the two were only "footsoldiers" of Al-qaeda and posed no potential risk to Gh...

SUPERSTV SUPERSTV There is a crop of people in this country; one that sees itself as smart in the field it plays in, and whose members parade as people with unparalleled political brains. They have no shame and know no shame. All they want is fame, which is food that dead men eat, as Austin Dobson said. This cabal thinks about themselves only, every day that we spend in this country. The thought of others run through their minds every four years when they are hungry for their sumptuous food; power. They only speak politely every four years. They have one common ailment which they embarrassingly take pride in. This sickness is diarrhoea of the mouth. When the powers that be possess them, they are not able to exercise any sense of decency. They allow stinky words to pour forth from their mouths with such unabashedness it is mind-boggling. Whether the words they unleash edify or not, they just dont care. Their daily routine is galloping from one media house to the other, spewing gibberis...

President of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in Ghana for a one-day working visit. He arrived at approximately 10 am at the Kotoka International airport where he inspected a guard of honour mounted in his honour. Dressed in his signature wear, Agbada, the Nigerian president was received by his Ghanaian counterpart who also wore his traditional smock. A throng of Nigerians massed up at the airport under two large banners. Many waved brooms, the party insignia of Buharis All Progressives Congress, APC. The broom signifies the house-cleaning agenda the party intends to embark upon after years of mismanagement and corruption. - See more at: http://viasat1.com.gh/news/local/article.php?postId=8151#sthash.crBOTsP8.QKXtRmKN.dpuf President of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in Ghana for a one-day working visit.
