My thoughts on OFW/CFW 4.60
The new update has been out for two days and there has been a surge in related forum and blog posts, multiple forms of spoofers for every flavour of CFW, and a few overly ambitious 4.60 CFWs. It seems that the ODE scene had come to a close (keep in mind it seemed the same way in February) and most all previous homebrews are not compatible with 4.60 based CFW (Ferrox4.60CFW).
$ony went great lengths this time around to put a damper on the CFW/ODE scene, they even modified their terms and agreements with some pretty direct language [Dont install any firmware but this one!]-$ony.
I suppose backup managers and homebrew will continue to work by spoofing your CFW or ODE to 4.60. You could even enjoy PSN for a brief period of time... since spoofing still lacks that special something $ony buried in their updat that may result in a mass banning.
I may be jumping the gun, I'm sure I've felt the same way the last update came out and the whole CFW/ODE scene felt it as well, but I was quickly proven very wrong and everyone was happy again. So this could be a case where DeanK or Rogero or someone comes up with something brilliant in the next 15 minutes and saves the day once again, but this is just a reality check for both PSN and Homebrewers alike; its not any better to jump on OFW or CFW4.60 until both camps have smoothed things out.

Here's some insight on downgrading OFW 4.60
