CFW 4.60 FERROX BD EDITION 1:00 By Alexander!
Do not update and expect your backups to work, they will not... yet
Update: I tested it on 4 consoles this morning, CECHG, CECHH, CECH-2001a and CECH-2501a.
They all work, but multiman needs to be updated for the backups to work. As the suggestion states below, there is no real reason to jump to this firmware just yet. I'll make a post when the new multiman comes out.

As the PS3 firmware 4.60 update has prompted many developers to create spoofer's and update various homebrew application. It also mark's a new wave of CFW's to hit the scene; It did not take long developer Alexander release the latest FERROX CFW with his FERROX 4.60 CEX CFW, this is a Standard CFW and has the usual patches found in most Standard flavors of CFW. View all the details of this CFW release in the Google Translated Release Quote.
FEATURE:
TESTED Console:
PLEASE READ & UNDERSTAND: If you plan on installing this CFW or any CFW for that matter, know there is a brick risk, ESPECIALLY IF YOU FAIL TO READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS. If your console bricks due to a CFW installation. The only person to blame is yourself as you should of waited for user / developer feedback before you have installed any custom PUP file. Any NEW CFW release should be used only by user's with ways to recover from a Console Brick. For others who do not have hardware flashers I strongly suggest to wait out any release and see if there is no brick reports. So USE ANY CFW AT YOUR OWN RISK

The FW is very similar to the 4:55 then there have been no tests on all models of the PS3. I did the test on my console and it was fine, clean installation, and all Feature running. However do yourself a backup of the NOR and NAND, for safety.
Unfortunately there are still Backup Manager updated, so you'll have to wait a little.
