PS3 ISO Tools v1.91b and reActPSN v3.12 for CFW 4.55
Both of these tools can be used to split/merge files
You can also use NTFS, which handles files larger than 4gb, but games must be iso format

One of the better tools for converting your PS3 ISOs on a Window's PC has been updated today by PSX-Scene developer Rudi Rastelli. The homebrew developer drops v1.91b onto the community. The developer adds updated versions of "makeps3iso", "extractps3iso" and "patchps3iso" among other changes you see in the official changelog seen below.

Basic function
Create aa user and run reActPSN to generate PSN license from USB/exdata.Button controls

- Option to allow some special Characters, like '�' or '�', in ISO-names(WARNING: Doesn't work with 'webMAN' but works with 'multiMAN' or 'IrisManager' as far as i can tell)
- Shows log file after conversion/extraction for a quick check if everything goes well
- Check for insufficient free disk space on target drive
