PS2 Games on PS3
I got a PS2 game to work (Metal Gear Solid 3 - Snake Eater)
I've figured out how to play PS2 ISOs on PS3.
Download and install reactPSN 3.10 (or 3.11) Here
Download PS2 Classics Placeholder R3 with exdata and license Here
Instructions
-Place PS2 ISOs in USB\PS2ISO or PS3's internal DEV_HDD0\PS2ISO
-Log into PSN (not sure if necessary or not, first try without)
-Copy ReactPSN.pkg to USB
-Extract PS2 Classics Placeholder R3 to USB, make sure the .pkg is in the root and the license and exdata folder are also in the root of USB
-Install react PSN and PS2 Classics Placeholder by "install package files"
-Create new user "aa" and log in
-Start ReactPSN, system will reboot (if done correctly)
-Open multiman, choose game from retro column (if you've installed the ISO to Root\PS2ISO), allow for processing, then choose the new copy of that game
-Launch game by choosing PS2 Classics Placeholder.
Sorry about the audio near the end, I had my hand on the microphone.

Note: In comparison of playing from ISO and Original PS2 Game DVD, the ISO sometimes has issues generating graphics and rumble commands at the same time while the DVD runs smoothly. Of course it isnt as good as playing from an actual PS2 since the PS3 is emulating the previous-gen system.
